Impromptu wall art “Cruel Pigs” at First Friday

Text rendered on to the piece in pencil

Our prep for First Friday shows at the Warehouse generally starts around one in the afternoon—this time around instead of helping clean, I decided to make use of one of the dividers as some improvised wall art for the show. The text reads

Staring down the makings of his means
he finally understood what it was they all seemed

to know all along that
the marks meant nothing

Infinite possibilities for beauty and
cruel pigs with their gold would burn it all
just to survive the fire

The piece is roughly 4×8 feet, done with spray paint, acrylic, pencil, oil marker, vinyl letters and office stickers.
