If there’s one thing I loathe it’s the idea that creativity has become content. As if art needs to suddenly morph into this grotesque consumable for the sole purpose of profiteering by digital corporate entities. At what point did we stop having discussions about art as the soul of humanity that could fight against this consuming nature of greed?

I don’t much keep track of hipster culture and their bicycle and vegan-friendly routines of projected happiness, but all of it is dependent on an infrastructure that endorses big banks and big government. If anything has become apparent to me while being outside of America, it’s that counter-culture really isn’t that much to the counter of anything anymore. If anything, it’s being crafted solely for commodification.

This is be a pattern that must soon fracture by force.
